André Dubois’s artwork consists of five aluminium elements, inspired by nature and rising like totem poles. The structures are perforated with symbolic shapes representing specific features of Pointe-Claire and Canada in terms of heritage, territory, wildlife and flora. The shading games help to invigorate the artwork and gave it its name: Les ombres claires (The Clear Shadows).
